On February 5th 2012, starting at 4pm, the doors of the Fillmore will be open for a different type of experience. Not since Super Bowl XL when played in Detroit has the Big Game been shown in the theater. For 2012 we bring the excitement back to Detroit’s BIGGEST HD screen. The game will be shown on the enormous main stage 50-foot HD silver screen and of course accompanied by concert quality sound.

For the first time ever we create stadium style plush couch seating to view the game!

THE HISTORY OF THE FILLMORE
The Fillmore Detroit (The Big House) is a beautiful historic venue located in the heart of Detroit’s entertainment district. Originally opened in 1925 as a movie house, this elegant venue has been renovated to offer guests a unique concert and special event experience. As you walk through the grand lobby of The Fillmore Detroit you are embraced by the nostalgia of the original Fillmore chandeliers and the history they represent. Within the theater, the 80 foot ceiling is flanked by the famous chandeliers as well as a hardwood dance floor. As you walk down memory lane, catch a glimpse of the infamous rock poster wall featuring a small sampling of the endless artists who have graced this magnificent stage.
