Even though most Americans have become frustrated with this economy, the reality is that the vast majority of them still have no idea just how bad our economic decline has been. Sadly, child poverty is absolutely exploding all over America. According to the National Center for Children in Poverty, 2011 reports, 53.6% of all children that live in Detroit are living in poverty. The city of Detroit is the one of the poorest according to recent U.S. Census Bureau. Michigan is the only state whose poverty has continued to worsen. During hard times, it’s important to remain appreciative and be thankful for what God has blessed us with… the opportunity to live and give.
The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving. — Albert Einstein
The Nicest Present – POEM
Under the tree the gifts enthrall,
But the nicest present of them all
Is filling our thoughts with those who care,
Wanting our Christmas joy to share.
To you, whom we’re often thinking of,
We send our holiday joy and love.

The mission of The Premier Club members and VBLifestyle.com is to collect new, unwrapped toys during the month of December, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community of Detroit providing a message of hope to less fortunate kids.
The great joy of the Holiday season is not only the wonder of nativity, but the opportunity to practice generosity.
If you want to help us put a smile on the face of a child, join us this Friday, December 23rd, starting 10pm, at our Annual Holiday Party & Toy Drive at The Hamilton Room, 201 Hamilton Row, Downtown Birmingham.

That’s pretty cool you what you guys are doing. I like when people, especially promoters, don’t forget about what’s important and take the time to give back. Looking forward towards the night. New toys on the way, thanks.
Thank you for the comment.
See you Friday.
